Covid 19 Requirements & Guidelines

COVID-19 - CURRENT GUIDELINES & REQUIREMENTS:

EMILY’S SKIN CARE has been closely following all the current, updated and ever changing safety, sanitation guidelines & requirements.

I have always adhered to very stringent sanitation procedures because I am an Esthetician, but even more so as an Oncology Trained & Certified Esthetician. And, now with covid there are even more guidelines. Adjusting to these requirements & implementing these changes takes a bit more time in my day and does effect scheduling. As a result appointment scheduling between clients has been impacted due to the rigorous sanitation of equipment, tools, bedding, room, etc.

My environment/decor has also been adjusted and the proper PPE has been setup for all of us.

PLEASE REVIEW THE GUIDELINES THAT ARE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY! 

CONSENT FOR TREATMENT FORM MUST BE FILLED OUT BEFORE YOU ARRIVE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT.  A CONSENT FOR TREATMENT WAIVER WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU 1 DAY PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT AND MUST BE COMPLETED, EMAILED/SCREEN SHOT or TEXTED THE DAY BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED VISIT.

HARD COPY MUST BE PROVIDED UPON ARRIVAL (more details below under "Consent for Treatment" below).

PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY TO YOUR APPOINTMENT.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE PLEASE TEXT ME FROM CAR 661-433-7533.

I WILL TEXT YOU BACK TO LET YOU KNOW WHEN I CAN MEET YOU AT THE SECOND SOLA DOOR BY THE EXIT SIGN JUST BEFORE THE STAIRS.

I WILL USE A CONTACTLESS THERMOMETER TO TAKE YOUR TEMPERATURE BEFORE WE WALK TO MY STUDIO.

PLEASE BE SURE YOU WEAR A COMFORTABLE MASK AS YOU WILL KEEP YOUR MASK ON DURING YOUR BROW/LASH TREATMENT. BE SURE TO WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHES TO RELAX IN DURING YOUR SERVICE AS GARMENTS WILL NOT BE REMOVED. YOUR SHOES WILL BE LEFT OUTSIDE MY DOOR, NO HATS PLEASE AND HAVE YOUR PULLED UP OR PINNED BACK.

PLEASE ARRIVE WITH A CLEAN FACE AND NO EYE OR BROW MAKEUP.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING GUESTS/CHILDREN WITH YOU TO YOUR APPOINTMENT.

I KNOW WE WILL HAVE SO MUCH CATCHING UP TO DO, BUT PLEASE LIMIT CONVERSATION AT THIS TIME UNLESS IT IS IN REGARDS TO YOUR SERVICE. THIS WILL BE A CHALLENGE AS I WILL WANT TO HEAR ALL YOU WISH TO SHARE AND GET OFF YOUR CHEST! I AM HERE FOR YOU AND WANT TO BE MINDFUL OF YOUR SAFETY AND MINE.

PLEASE MAINTAIN AND OBSERVE SOCIAL DISTANCING WHEN IN THE HALLWAYS AND COMMON AREAS. THERE IS NO WAITING IN THE HALLWAYS PERMITTED.

PLEASE WASH OR SANITIZE YOUR HANDS BEFORE ARRIVING. HOWEVER, I WILL PROVIDE HAND SANITIZER FOR YOU WHEN YOU ARRIVE AND EXIT MY STUDIO OR THE BUILDING.

NO FOOD, DRINK OR EXTRA BAGS. HANDBAG OR WALLET OF COURSE.

PRACTITIONER AND GUEST WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES IF THEY EXHIBIT ANY SYMPTOMS OF BEING ILL OR UNDER THE WEATHER SUCH AS: FEVER, SORE THROAT, COUGHING, SNEEZING, RUNNY NOSE, VOMITING. IF YOU ARE WORRIED THAT YOU MIGHT BE SICK, PLEASE RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT. HOWEVER, Due to the rigorous guidelines and sanitation all appointments NOW require your credit/debit card information to secure your visit. During covid should you need to reschedule or cancel, a 48 hour reschedule or cancellation TEXT TO:  661-433-7533 IS required in order to avoid a $50 rescheduling or canceling fee.

This is not my standard policy as most of you know, however due to the rigorous requirements and sanitation practices/policies during this time I am requesting that this cancellation policy be in place.

IF YOU HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO ANYONE THAT IS SICK, PLEASE RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
